Of Palestinian origin, he has been living in Italy for more than twenty years, and has Italian citizenship. He earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Bologna and holds a Master's degree in human rights (humanitarian intervention).

He was a professor of Arab language and culture at the University of Urbino and the ISIAO (Italian Institute for Africa and the East) at their Ravenna and Bologna sites.

At Halal Global, he verifies compliance, in terms of Islamic religious and legal precepts, of products undergoing the certification process, maintains relations with countries of Arab-Islamic culture and also handles commercial activities for the institution.
